Private Canoe Trip

Explore southwest Nova Scotia's finest wilderness on your own private canoe adventure. This trip is designed to accommodate parties who wish to enjoy an exclusive trip with one of our guides. Our private canoe trips are limited to your party only and you get to pick you trip destination and date range rather than adhere to our prescribed trips.

This is a fully guided multi-day backcountry canoe adventure. You only need to choose your start date, and the number of nights you want your trip to last. Many routes involve portages, none of which are overly taxing, but none of which would be innocent of building your appetite (you will break a sweat). A moderate level of physical activity is required, however no prior experience or skills are needed.

Join your guide at Jake’s Landing where we'll pack the remainder of the trip, have a quick lunch and either stat the trip there or shuttle to another put-in.

We aim to blend luxury and comfort with Nova Scotia’s unforgettable landscape to create an adventure perfect for anyone to enjoy. This private trip is especially suited for families who want to emphasize family time without any distractions.

Don't worry, we will provide you with clean drinking water (and one of our cool Whynot Adventure 1000ml/32oz water bottles), the bugs are never so bad you won't have fun (July/August and September have little to no bugs!), and there are private outhouses at all the sites. Oh, and we take coffee seriously. It’s french press in the backcountry, with a locally roasted bean. We grind at the campsite for freshness.
