Amazing backcountry adventure! It was just the 2 of us together with Carlene as our guide on the Frozen Ocean 3 day trip. It was an amazing adventure and the highlight of our 4 week NS/NL road trip. You don’t have to worry about anything. The canoes, the material, the campsites, the food, everything is taken care of. Carlene makes really great food (you will definitely be amazed (and full!)). She gives interesting info on the park’s flora and fauna and the first nations and she’s a real backcountry pro. The scenery is just gorgeous and the canoeing was fun. You will definitely sleep well after a day of paddling! It was great being able to do such a trip in this way. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal bespoke 3 day canoe trip! Let them know how far/hard you wish to paddle and portage, and then show up with nothing but a couple of changes of clothes [...], for a back-to-nature, fully catered experience of a lifetime. Extremely private campsites, shockingly good meals (fresh ground coffee, campfire cooked cinnamon buns and lasagna for dinner?!), nighttime stars like no city dweller has ever seen and wildlife up close and personal (a huge buck at the water’s edge as we quietly paddled by, majestic bald eagles and enchanting loons calling to the setting sun across the lake). The Whynot Adventure team’s [guided trip] option made it possible for two busy dads and their respective thirteen year olds boys to have a canoe tripping experience with ease and comfort, only two hours from Halifax. Tremendous value [...].

Excellent service! We got there early and were helped out by picking the right Kayak for our day, weather and wind reports, navigation techniques, best places to paddle to and much more! In addition when we booked they sent us an email with local tips for the rest of our trip in Nova Scotia! Above and beyond! We spent an amazing day paddling to different islands, having a picnic and swimming at our own private beaches. The perfect way to explore Keji!
