Keji Southern Lakes Canoe Trip - 4 Day

Similar to our 3-day version, but offering an added day for exploration and relaxing, this extended Keji Southern Lakes canoe trip is an excellent opportunity to see the other, less visited side of the park. Sandy beaches, blue lakes and rocky shores set the backdrop for this adventure. My favourite sites are all on southern lakes- come see why.

Amazingly, there is terrific cell reception throughout most of the park so you'll have the choice to leave your phone at your car to unplug for a few days, or to bring it along and post your best pictures to Instagram and Facebook for your family and friends to see.

This Canadian adventure vacation is perfect for families, couples and solo travellers. We'll accommodate your dietary preferences and restrictions and integrate them with our gourmet backcountry menu. You won't have to tent with a stranger and there are private pit privys/out houses at each site. Besides being culinary epicures, our guides also take coffee seriously. You'll always find a pound of the best local roast (Fair Trade/Organic) we can source; we also take care to grind the beans fresh each morning. Preparation is french press.

We start and finish the trip at Jake's Landing, in Kejimkujik National Park. In-between we'll paddle and portage to the southern lakes region of the park, enjoy some of the best campsites in the park, stargaze in a dark sky preserve, roast marshmallows for s'mores and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

This is the area to show off all the great things that are being said about your business.

WOW! When my husband signed me up for this trip I was a little worried, not having gone in a canoe for many years or very far! However, this trip banished all my fears. Our guide was personable and expert. He gave advice when needed but also gave you space to experience the beauty of the national park. The trip was excellently planned with a route that included lakes and rivers, land and nature. Although we were both beginners, in our 50s we felt fine on all parts of the trip. A definate plus was the fantastic feasts included in the trip. Our guide was not only an excellent cook but can guide you to many other eating pleasures in the neighbourhood. The evenings of food and chat were wonderful, even with the ever friendly mosquitos. Our guide also had bug repellent and sun cream and made sure we never forgot to use it. Our experience with Whynot Adventure has given me the confidence to look for other trips like this, or go back to them. I can´t wait to go on another trip.
Went for a four day canoeing trip at Keji through this company. They provided everything; food, tents, canoes, you name it. The guide was personable and told amazing stories about the history of the park. It really made you appreciate the land and park you were travelling through. They were very patient and made it easy to enjoy paddling, even though we were at a beginner level. The sites were absolutely beautiful and you couldn't beat the peace and tranquillity of the forest. Prices were extremely reasonable, and low in comparison to other outfitters. Will definitely be returning here some day.
