This little gem meets Transport Canada regulations and comes in a convenient little package. The mesh bag holds 15m of buoyant heaving line, the buckle sports a pea-less whistle and the pouch serves as a 500ml bailer. Tick, tick and tick- you are now compliant.
While this throw-bag meets regulations, we do not recommend the bailer for situations where you need to bail a lot of water from your boat in a short amount of time, such as in whitewater paddling scenarios. That said, we've been supplying the NorthWater 4-Bailer with all of our canoe rentals for four years and our guests have never had an issue.
