Jr. Guide School 3rd Year Trip

Our Jr. Guide School 3rd Year trip is designed to be fun and stress free. We know you've worked hard to get to this point, and now it's time to put your skills to use and enjoy a 3-night/4-day guided backcountry canoe trip.

Please note, while our goals is for this to be a fun experience for you, this trip won't be a 'walk in the park'. Portaging is difficult, and the variable weather conditions can make having fun challenging. Each day is long and will require stamina and fortitude of will. Once embarked, there is no opportunity to quit or finish early.

Upcoming 2024 Dates:

Whynot Adventure specializes in providing exceptional wilderness experiences.

Forget stuffy regimented outings run like military boot camps. We offer something different. We build our trips on a simple philosophy- if you enjoy it, you’ll want to do it again. That’s what we strive for; to give you the tools so you and your friends can undertake a canoe trip confidently after doing your 3rd year trip with us.

Plus, you’ll eat well, like kings and queens, actually. We don’t serve mac’n cheese, or ramen noodles just because you’re young. You’ll eat good healthy food, just like anyone else. Imagine hot cinnamon buns in the morning with breakfast, or making a pasta sauce from scratch which is then devoured with hot garlic bread off the fire. It’s that good. Oh, and you might even get some s’mores after dinner!

We’ll hook you up with all the equipment you need, at no extra charge. This means if you don’t have a sleeping bag, or aren’t sure yours will be warm enough, we’ll provide you with one of ours (with a freshly laundered organic cotton liner). That goes for anything else, too, like a compass, or a dry bag for your personal items.
