General Bookings and Cancellation Policy
i. For all inquiries regarding rental inventory, pricing and availability please refer to our website or contact by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 902-682-2282.
2. Bookings and Reservations
i. All reservations should be made on our website. We are also available to answer your questions through email (email@example.com), or by phone (1 902 682 2282)
ii. To make a reservation for rental equipment, please be prepared to provide us with the following rental details:
A. number of people in party (children, infants?)
B. rental equipment required
C. duration of rental
iii. All reservations are required to provide an advance 25% non refundable deposit.
iv. Please be prepared to provide us with, upon arrival, a valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card number (not debit) or security deposit of $250.00 per boat or bicycle for day rentals; $500 per boat or bicycle for multi-day rentals; $100.00 for all other rentals.
v. A confirmation email will be sent out confirming the reservation shortly after the reservation has been made.
vi. All participants must complete a Release of Liability Waiver prior to any use of Whynot Adventure equipment. Minors (under the age of 19 years) must have their Release of Liability Waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
3. Final Payment
i. The final balance will be due upon returning to the Keji Outfitters headquarters located at Jake’s Landing in Kejimkujik National Park. Payment can be made with Interac, cash or credit.
i. All cancellations of general reservations will be subject to a loss of the pre-paid 25% non refundable deposit.
ii. All cancellations made outside of 48-hours will not be charged any extra fees above the non-refundable deposit.
iii. All cancellations made within 48-hours of departure (including ‘no-shows’) will be charged the remainder of the quoted total booking price. The charge will be made on the credit card provided during the reservation.
Group, Guided Adventure & Outfitting Package Booking and Cancellation Policies
i. Groups are defined as four or more boats, or, 8 or more persons.
ii. Groups also include any party which has benefited, or has been quoted as benefiting from a discounted bill because of size, affiliation, age or organization and will be subject to the Group Booking and Group Cancellation Policy.
iii. Any reservations made for guided trips and/or outfitting packages will also be subject to the Group Booking and Group Cancellation Policy.
2. Group, Guided Adventure & Outfitting Package Bookings Policy
i. All Group Bookings must be made at a minimum of 14-days in advance.
ii. All Group Bookings must be accompanied with a credit card number, including an expiry date and a 3-digit verification code.
iii. All Group Bookings are required to provide an advance 25% non-refundable deposit of the quoted total on the day the reservation is created. Failing to do so within 48-hours of when the reservation was made will void the reservation.
iv. All Group Bookings involving minors (under the age of 19 years) must have WAO Waivers completed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian and received by Whynot Adventure (by fax or email) no later than 3-days prior to the arrival of the group.
3. Group, Guided Adventure, & Outfitting Package Cancellation Policy
i. Cancellations made outside of 30-days prior to the reserved arrival of the group will be subject to a loss of only the 25% non-refundable deposit, which can be used as a credit with our company, less a $50 administration fee.
ii. Cancellations made outside of 15-days prior to the reserved arrival of the group will be subject to a forfeiture equal to 50% of the quoted reservation invoice,which can be used as a credit with our company, less a $143.75 administration fee.
iii. Cancellations made within 15-days prior to the reserved arrival of the group will be subject to a forfeiture equal to the total of the quoted reservation invoice, which can be used as a credit with our company, less a $575 administration fee.
iv. All forfeitures will be charged immediately, however, the total amount the administration fee can be used as a non-transferable credit against a re-booking with Whynot Adventure. The credit can only be used against a re-booking made by, and for, the original party involved.
v. All bookings will run as planned, rain or shine, cold or hot, so please plan appropriately.
